Vigil in Solidarity with Ms. Brown & Ms. McMillan

THURSDAY MARCH 3RD 2011 — 1:30PM
32-34 Parallel Street, Springfield, MA (MAP)
On Thursday March 3rd at 1:30 p.m., please join the No One Leaves/ Nadie Se Mude campaign for a vigil in front of the home of Marisa Brown and Scheana McMillan at 32-34 Parallel Street in Springfield. Ms. Brown and Ms. McMillan and are tenants living in a home that is being foreclosed on by Wells Fargo bank, and and active members and leaders of the growing bank tenant movement in Springfield.

We will be gathering to make one very simple demand to bidders at the foreclosure auction: Anyone who buys this home must allow Ms. Brown and Ms. McMillan to continue living in their homes as rent-paying tenants! Don’t Buy This Home to Evict These Tenants!

Please join us to stand in solidarity with our sisters on Thursday!
*Bring anti-eviction signs if possible: “Don’t Evict” “No More Evictions”
